This instrument cluster repair and restoration service completely overhauls your 1981-1985 500SL instrument cluster. The service includes rebuilding and/or repairing your cluster's electronic, mechanical, and cosmetic components.
What's Included:
- Deep Cleaning and Inspection: We carefully disassemble, inspect, and thoroughly clean every component.
- Mechanical & Electronic Rebuilds: Speedometer, tachometer, and clock PCBs are rebuilt; Odometer gears are replaced to restore proper mileage tracking; The rheostat is rebuilt to restore dimming functionality.
- Cosmetic Upgrades: We provide a brand-new clear cluster lens, fresh backlighting bulbs, and we repaint your gauge needles.
- Complete Testing: Every unit is rigorously tested for proper function before return.
- Available Lifetime Warranty: Like all ISS instrument cluster repairs, we offer a full lifetime warranty on each unit for an additional fee.
