Cluster removal is something most any DIYer can do. You only need a little mechanical knowledge and a few common tools. The steps generally include:
- Removing the dashboard trim pieces around the cluster that contain the cluster and join it with the dashboard.
- Detaching all wires and cables - be careful not to damage any of the connectors.
