How To Remove A 2015-20 Ford F-150 Instrument Cluster

Tools Needed
To remove this instrument cluster you will need a few tools:
- A 7 mm socket wrench
- A small ratchet
- A pry tool or a flat head screwdriver
Removing Your Ford F-150 Instrument Cluster
1. To begin use your pry tool to pry the top corners of the lower dash cover away from the dash.
2. Allow the panel to drop down revealing the two screws that hold the instrument cluster bezel on the bottom.
3. Remove the two 7mm screws.
4. Next lower the steering column into its lowest out position for better access.
5. Pry the leather cover away from the upper steering column cover.
6. Then working around the bezel with your hands pull it away from the dash to release the clips.
7. Pull out and remove the instrument cluster bezel.
8. Here you'll be able to see the tabs that hold the leather cover to the steering column cover.
9. The cluster is held in by four 7 mm screws there's one at the bottom corner of the cluster and one on each top corner. You may need to use a small ratchet to remove the top corner screws.
10. Once the screws have been removed, pull the cluster towards you, compress the tab on the back of the plug, pull and remove it from the cluster.
11. You can now remove the instrument cluster.
Installing The New F-150 Cluster
12. To install the cluster position the cluster into it slot and plug it in.
13. You can now set the cluster in place.
14. Align the two posts on the bottom corners with the two alignment holes in the cluster.
15. You can now attach the four 7 mm screws.
16. You can now reinstall the cluster bezel by putting it back into position. and pressing the bezel tabs into the dash.
17. Press the bezel tabs into the dash.
18. Then you will reattach the two 7 mm screws on the bottom.
19. Lift the lower dash cover into position and press the tabs into the dash.
20. Installation is now complete.
