How To Install A  2002-06 GMC Envoy Replacement Instrument Cluster

Tools needed for the installation include a Phillips head screwdriver and a 7 mm socket wrench.

GMC Envoy Cluster Removal Instructions

1 - Begin by removing two Phillips head screws below the steering column to drop the bottom panel.

2 - Remove the lower steering column panel by unscrewing four 7 mm screws (two on the bottom and two on the top).

3 - Detach the lower steering column panel by popping out the clips using a screwdriver or pry tool.

4 - Remove the instrument cluster bezel by unscrewing two 7 mm screws on the lower part and two Phillips head screws on the upper part.

5- Lower the steering column to its lowest position to slide the bezel out from between the dash and steering wheel.

6 - Remove the four 7 mm screws from each corner of the instrument cluster and carefully pull it forward.

7 - Unplug the instrument cluster by squeezing the connector to release it.

8 - Now, the plug is ready to install the new cluster.

9 - Reverse the removal steps to reinstall the new instrument cluster, being cautious not to over tighten the screws.

10 - Reinstall all panels and screws, ensuring the clips and screws are securely in place to complete the installation.
